Dear colleagues,
climate change requires immediate action and a change of previous practices. This also affects us as members of the University of Freiburg. Thus, we would like to invite you to sign our open letter to the University with the request to reduce emissions from business trips.
The letter has been authored by a group of researchers from different faculties, which are engaged with the Scientists For Future Freiburg since several months. We are looking forward to numerous signatures and your ideas about the topic climate-conscious university in general, which you are welcome to add in the commentary field of the open letter. The letter with the signatures collected until then will be presented to the principle and the Senate on the 17th of December 2019.
